Red Rock State Park is a 286-acre nature preserve and environmental education center located near Sedona, AZ. Red Rock State Park provides visitors with an opportunity to view the unique red rock landscape of the northern Verde Valley and the high biodiversity of the desert and Oak Creek.

What You'll See
Visitors will have ample opportunity to view a diverse array of wildlife. Within the Visitor Center, park staff keep track of wildlife sightings including the location where they were seen, at what time, and during what day. Along the trails that take you through the unique habitat of the area, visitors may see migratory songbirds or the elusive coatimundi.
Red Rock State Park serves as a site for the Arizona Birding Trail, a network of more than 300 birding and watchable wildlife sites across the state. For more information, visit their website here.
Getting There
Red Rock State Park is located approximately 5.6 miles southwest of Sedona, AZ. From Sedona, take SR 89A southwest for 5.7 miles then turn left on Red Rock Loop Road. Continue on Red Rock Loop Road for 3 miles then turn right and continue for 0.7 miles to the parking lot.
