About

Cornville Grasslands is an area located between Cottonwood and Cornville, AZ that includes a system of trails covering approximately 12.1 miles known as the Cornville Trail System. The landscape is comprised of mostly mesa dropseed grassland intermixed with creosote and juniper shrubs.

Getting There

Cornville Grasslands is situated between the Verde Santa Fe community and Cornville, AZ, south of East Cornville Rd/County Road 30 and can be accessed by the Tissaw Trailhead. Heading west out of Cornville from the Oak Creek bridge, travel 2.4 miles. Turn left onto S Tissaw Road and continue for 0.7 miles. The Tissaw Trailhead parking lot will be on your left.
