What You'll See
With over 2,500 plant species and a focus on native Colorado Plateau ecosystems, The Arboretum is an ideal spot to find butterflies and other insects, hummingbirds and song birds, raptors, squirrels, lizards, and more. Getting There
The Arboretum is located 3.8 miles south of Route 66 along scenic Woody Mountain Road on Flagstaff's west side. The first mile of Woody Mountain Road is paved, and the remaining 2.8 miles are unpaved. The road can be rough at times, so travel with caution.
